According to the recruitment page, N’Ware expects to complete this recruitment round over the course of three years.

The Canadian IT company first established a footprint in Ireland in 2019 and intends to grow its market share in Europe and the broader EMEA region from Mountrath.

The company is temporarily based at Bloom HQ, a co-working space on Mountrath’s Patrick Street.

A SAP Gold partner in some regions, N’Ware provides enterprise resource planning and business applications software for SMEs and subsidiaries of large enterprises.

Established in Quebec in 1995, N’Ware also has offices in Canada, the US, Mexico, Colombia, India, Israel and the UK. While the company has secured clients in more than 15 countries, the majority of its business is in North and Latin America.

“When we were considering the location from where to drive our European expansion, the choice for Ireland was a clear one, both as a viable local market for a business that is very aligned to our company culture, as well as a launching pad to expand our business into the Europe, Middle East and Africa region,” said Dan Parent, CEO of N’Ware.

Mark Rijke, who leads the Irish operation as regional MD, added: “We further selected the Laois region due to its central location in the country with good connectivity, as well as the fact that it provides us with the opportunity to offer the type of work-life balance to our employees which is part of the core set of values of N’Ware Technologies.”

Rijke has built a core team for the EMEA HQ since taking up his role in 2019, though further growth was initially delayed due to Covid-19 restrictions. “We have been very lucky to see the business take off, despite Covid, and are excited to build up our presence further in Ireland and start our further expansion into Europe,” he told

The establishment of N’Ware’s European HQ in Mountrath has been supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.

Sean Fleming, TD for the Laois–Offaly constituency and a Minister of State in the Department of Finance, welcomed the announcement as a “positive development” for Laois.

“It is further evidence of the benefits of locating in the regions outside Dublin where there is access to talent, lower operating costs and higher staff retention rates,” he said.
